The aim of the project is to analyse the use of the four databases at the Wake field Learning Network (AQUA, the courses, the tutor and web databases) and to provide a list of recommendations about how the data within them might be rec onciled. Each of these recommendations should be thoroughly evaluated and some of them might be implemented in a prototype if time allows. The four main databases are 1. AQUA database This contains details of the students and courses. 2. Tutor Contract database This is an access database and is used to issue contracts to part time tutors. 3. Staff database This is used to monitor staff qualifications and staff development and lists t he people that are on the approved tutor list. 4. Website database This is used to help potential students to access information about the course s we offer. That's it!
